TAI CHI (60 minutes)
What Will Happen During The First Tai Chi Class?
Step #1
Usually an instructor will try to speak with you before the class begins to find out what short and long term goals you have for Tai Chi at Shaolin-Do.
Step #2
The class will officially begin with a set of warm ups exercises that focus on breathing and internal strength building.
Step #3
Beginner students will move to another training room to work on the most basic tai chi movements, postures and proper stepping. Emphasis will be placed upon relaxation, full and deep breathing, and tension free movement.
Step #4
Students will do some very simple partner practice to emphasize the principles of coordinated body movement and the yielding principles of Tai Chi.
Step #5
You might do a short practicing of powerful and effective breathing techniques.
Step #6 Class ends. |
